The Diversity At Work Awards reward the efforts of individuals, teams and organisations who encourage diversity and inclusion in their workplace.
ConnectEast won the Work-Life Balance category, recognising flexible working environments and a focus on balancing work and life. In the Employment and Inclusion Awards for small and medium organisations, ConnectEast was announced as the runner-up in the People with a Disability category.
ConnectEast was also announced as the winner of the Best Employer Brand in the 2008 Fairfax Employment Marketing Awards (FEMA) in Sydney.
FEMA recognises creative and effective employment advertising and excellence in the field of recruitment showcasing companies and individuals who have made a significant contribution as a leader in their field. This award category was open nationally to any corporate employer brand that has successfully developed and executed a brand strategy designed to attract and retain quality staff.
