EastLink is the largest completed road project in Australia, comprising 45 kilometres of freeway standard road, inclusive of the untolled Ringwood and Dandenong bypasses. ConnectEast engaged Thiess John Holland (TJH) as the Design and Construct Contractor for EastLink.
TJH managed the project in five regions as follows:

Mitcham Region (Springvale Road to Deep Creek Road)

Ringwood Region (Deep Creek Road to Mountain Highway)

Knox Region (Mountain Highway to Police Road)

Dandenong Region (Police Road to Popes Road)

Frankston Region (Popes Road to Frankston Freeway)
Each region had a dedicated project team concentrating on design and construction, environmental and community requirements specific to that region.
