EASTLINK TRAFFIC & REVENUE - APRIL 2010

ConnectEast has announced its traffic and revenue information for April 2010.
The highlights include:
- Average Daily Revenue (ADR) of $546,089 was 16.3% higher than in April 2009.
- Average Workday Trips (AWT) was 199,191, 15.4% higher than in April 2009. AWT was only 0.7% lower than in March 2010 despite the holiday periods in April 2010.
- Average Daily Trips (ADT) of 168,859 was 12.7% higher than in April 2009.
- Commercial traffic growth continues with LCV and HCV traffic 18.1% and 16.8% higher respectively than in April 2009.
- EastLink Traffic & Revenue for April 2010 was negatively impacted by Easter and the Victorian school holiday period which ran to 11 April 2010 and the Anzac Day public holiday on 26 April 2010. Consequently, traffic volumes were seasonally lower this month.
- There was one less workday and one more public holiday in April 2010 compared to April 2009.
