EASTLINK TRAFFIC & REVENUE - MARCH 2010

ConnectEast has announced its traffic and revenue information for March 2010.
The highlights include:
- Average Workday Trips exceeded 200,00 on EastLink for the first time. At 200,663 this was 14% higher than in March 2009.
- Average Daily Trips (ADT) of 179,004 was 15.1% higher than in March 2009 and represents the highest monthly ADT on EastLink to date.
- Average Daily Revenue (ADR) of $584,227 is the highest monthly ADR on EastLink to date and was 21.3% higher than in March 2009.
- Commercial traffic growth continues with LCV and and HCV traffic 23.2% and 19.8% higher respectively than in March 2009.
- Average trip toll (inclusive of GST) of $3.26 is 5.2% higher than in March 2009, principally reflecting favourable commercial mix and a 3.7% CPI-linked toll increase in July 2009.
- ConnectEast has now issued more than 350,000 Breeze tags and has opened more than 220,000 tolling accounts. ConnectEast continues to issue around 9,000 Breeze tags each month and to open around 5,000 tolling accounts each month.
