Completion of TJH Settlement
ConnectEast Group today completed settlement of the Supreme Court proceedings and other claims with its EastLink construction contractor, Thiess John Holland (TJH). Completion of the settlement followed receipt of required approvals from the State of Victoria under the EastLink Concession Deed and from the Group's financiers under the EastLink project finance documents.
Early Repayment of Debt
ConnectEast has also today repaid in full the $55 million balance of it debt maturing in November 2010 from cash on hand.
